As a composer I focus on chamber music with special attention for strings, including the classical guitar. As a linguist I am interested in vintage – sometimes forgotten – poetry in languages that are less widely used in classical music, such as Slovenian, Armenian, Portuguese. In 2020 I finished a series of 24 string quartets in all keys, as a homage to Dimitri Shostakovich who came with this idea, but who unfortanately passed away too soon to complete the entire cycle.
